Bedroom 1: With a king-size zip & link bed, sofa, armoire, hanging space, West and North facing windows, balcony and en-Suite bathroom with bath, hand-held shower, twin basins and WC.

Bedroom 2: With twin beds that can be converted into a king-size bed, free standing tin bath. East facing window, arm chair, cot bed suitable for a child up to about seven years old, can be made up with bed linen (on request), chest of drawers and en-suite shower room with WC.

Bedroom 3: This bedroom has the benefit of both North and South facing windows providing sea views through the trees on one side and warm South sun from the other side, the twin beds have linen upholstered head boards – which can be converted into a king-size bed on request.

Bedroom 4: With South facing windows this room has twin beds – which can be converted into a king-size bed on request, linen upholstered head boards, comfy chair, hanging space and chest of drawers with dressing-table mirror. Shower room with shower, basin and WC next door.

Bedroom 5: With windows facing West and East this spacious room has a king-size zip & link bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, full length mirror, dressing table, comfy chairs and en-suite bathroom with double, marble top Drummond's basins.

Bedroom 6: With twin beds which can be converted into a king-size bed, wardrobe, built in drawers and en-suite wet room with washbasin and WC.

Bedroom 7: With twin beds which can be converted into a king-size bed, hanging space and chest of drawers, en-suite bathroom with freestanding bath, hand-held shower, large washbasin and WC. Large South facing window.

The Old Cart Shed: May be used to accommodate two further guests in a pair of zip and link beds or used as a second sitting room with TV. we also keep two camp beds here.

Kitchen: Designed for socialising, the kitchen is extremely well equipped; with stone worktops it has a large 2 door electric range with induction hob, three sinks, seating for sixteen, two dishwashers and a microwave. There is also a comfortable window seat looking out over Cley marshes.

Drawing Room: With comfortable seating for sixteen, French day beds, Smart TV, wood burner, desk and French doors leading to the South terraced walled garden. There is also a study area with West facing door to the dinning hall. Free Wi-Fi throughout house.

Dining Hall: Our stunning new dining hall is a single story extension off the drawing room. It is 15 meters long with an arched door at the far end, the entire south side opens up turning the room in to a loggia onto the end walled garden ~ which is mainly lawn with a mature fig tree, olive trees, climbing wisteria and a rambling rose.

Hall: The hall is spacious and light with trestle tables, a drop leaf oak dining table and invites you in to explore the rest that Barn Drift has to offer.

Boot Room: With masses of coat hooks, washing machine, tumble dryer, butler sink, fridge, freezer and drying racks all beautifully integrated behind painted wooden cupboards. The boot room is accessed from the lower floor landing - as well as through the back door off the gravel courtyard. It is situated between bedroom 7 and bedroom 8 (or second sitting room) and has a wc and wet room too.

The house

Barn Drift offers a really comfortable home from home in a unique and stunning location in one of the most beautiful areas of England, the North Norfolk Coast. With 8 double or twin rooms (you choose), 7 bathrooms, a well equipped and spacious kitchen, drawing room and dining hall the accommodation is excellent. The generous design of the house, offering uninterrupted views of the surroundings in an official Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, each room beautifully decorated, offering complete privacy along with immense comfort and wonderful living spaces in which to safely enjoy large parties. The property has been expertly and sympathetically restored to an exceptionally high standard. With small or large parties in mind care has been taken to retain the unmistakable charm of the ancient building, combined with every modern convenience, including high speed WiFi. Totally surrounded by fields, meadows and woodland Barn Drift stands in over six acres of its own grounds, within which are three sheltered, original walled gardens accessed directly from the house through south facing French doors. Barn Drift undoubtedly has its very own blissful atmosphere.

The garden

In the middle of private farm land that has been in the same family for generations Barn Drift is surrounded by acres of its own gardens with panoramic views of the sea, Blakeney Point and the Glaven Valley. Organically gardened with three South facing walled gardens as well as extensive lawns and woodland, all accessed from the house – Barn Drift gardens offer the perfect outside space for any occasion from a family lunch, corporate retreat or wedding.

Enclosed walled garden areas only listed here, there are immense larger areas of lawn outside the walled gardens, ideal for any marquee size and all overlooking the sea and valley.
